This data set is part of the 2019 priority research topic of ATRI to standardize vehicle parking information systems based on driver preferences. ATRI surveyed drivers within this topic where over 300 drivers finished surveys. The survey provides drivers who were not able to attend MATS the opportunity to provide input. The lack of truck parking proceeds to behave as a top industry dilemma in ATRI’s annual industry survey, and in 2018 has been the No. 2 issue for drivers following the hours-of-service rules.ATRI’s research findings will give the driver-preferred data formats and methods of information delivery to entities and nations which offer truck parking info. Drivers can provide confidential input on truck parking data systems here. Driver answers will be collected by ATRI on the truck parking poll via the end of May.
